Our client is an automobile and industrial parts manufacturer with employees in Hong Kong and China. The employees were unable to go to office as usual amid disease outbreak, yet work-from-home was not feasible as all the files were stored in the company's server.
Knowing our client's problems and how severe they were, NEW SKY swiftly set up a home office in just half a day. Here are what we did:-
Upgrade and Set up VPN connection
After learning the client's network structure , NEW SKY's engineering team set up 20 VPN accounts through the client's firewall. File, database and email servers were set up to enable employees accessing data and information in a secure environment.
NEW SKY's engineering team met the client and its employees through video conference for a tutorial on the installation and use of VPN accounts, minimizing the need for a formal meeting.
All hardware settings and video tutorials are completed in just a day, so that even those with limited computer knowledge can work from home without problem.
The client appreciated the professional advices given by NEW SKY, who truly understood the client's needs and answered swiftly. This was particularly highlighted by setting up a home office and completing video tutorial within a day, moves that enabled its employees to work from home without problem.

In September 2017, New Sky cooperated with the world-famous Electronic Dance Music Festival and held a large-scale outdoor event in the Nursery Park, West Kowloon Cultural District. On-site audience was over 8,000 and at peak, there were more than 1,000 wireless devices using WiFi network simultaneously.
As a renowned global event, the organizer requested every detail to be PERFECT. No surprise, the high performance network that New Sky provided met their expectation well! For instance, the traditional paper tickets were replaced by electronic tickets which greatly shortened audience’ queue up time for admission. The POS System on-the-spot operated smoothly and steadily. The organizer was able to retrieve real-time data from Cloud Server which helped them to better re-allocate resources and man power. Acceptance of credit card payment and online settlement allowed them to reduce banknote transactions and the hassle of cash management.
